Update on Snow Removal and Refuse/Recycling Collections
Posted on: www.cb14brooklyn.com |
The Department of Sanitation has just delivered CB14 an update on snow removal and refuse/recycling collection efforts:
The New York City Department of Sanitation continues to have a snow operation in effect following the most recent 12 inch snowfall.
Refuse and recycling collection service will resume this evening, Wednesday, January 12th at 7 PM. The DSNY will resume where collection service left off when the storm began, with those areas scheduled for Tuesday collection service. Moving forward, residents should place their refuse and recyclables out the evening before their regularly scheduled collection day, though there will be some delays. Residents are asked to clear snow from material placed out for collection so it can be seen and serviced by collection crews.
