SPECIAL PERMITS: Applications for Special Permits have been filed with the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA), pursuant to Zoning Resolution of the City of New York §73-622, to enlarge a single or two-family detached or semi-detached residence within the designated R2 district bounded by Avenue I, Nostrand Avenue, Kings Highway, Avenue O and Ocean Avenue in Community Board 14 in the Borough of Brooklyn.

7:00 PM – 1226 East 26th Street, between Avenue L and Avenue M, Block 7643, Lot 55, BSA# 51-11-BZ – Applicant’s Representative: Lyra J. Altman, 212-867-3820

7:15 PM – 1214 East 29th Street, between Avenue M and Avenue N, Block 7646, Lot 52, BSA#60-11-BZ – Applicant’s Representative: Richard Lobel, 212-725-2727

7:30 PM – 1430-1432 East 29th Street, between Avenue N and Kings Highway, Block 7682, Lots 60-61, BSA#67-11-BZ – Applicant’s Representative: Jordan Most, 212-725-2727

7:45 PM – Loews Kings Theatre – An application submitted by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (“EDC”) on October 21, 2010 to modify an approved application (C 861226 MMK) for a change to the City Map Change, by eliminating, discontinuing and closing an approximately 221-foot-long portion of East 22nd Street between Tilden Avenue and Duryea Place in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, Community District 14, in order to facilitate the renovation and expansion of the historic Kings Theatre, which is located adjacent to East 22nd Street on Lot 18, Block 5132, and which would be expanded into the bed of the eliminated portion of street.

If you would like to testify at any of these public hearings, you should pre-register for speaking time by calling the Board office at 718-859-6357.  You may, in addition, register to speak at the hearing on June 2nd.
