Dutch Reformed Church Renovations
Posted on: www.cb14brooklyn.com |
November 24, 2021 – The Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church is under renovation to fix the leaning steeple and other façade repairs and improvements.
Please note, that while the DOB permit signs on the outside say “Residential” this is because of how the church is zoned and not a plan to build residential units on site! This is an as-of-right construction permit and was not required to go through a public process through the community board or any other body. We are pleased to see this landmark getting it’s long due repairs.
DOB permits: EXTERIOR RENOVATION OF CHURCH, NEW ROOF, STEEPLE REPAIRS, ORNAMENTAL MASONRY REPAIRS, DOOR AND WINDOW REPAIRS.
