CB14 Capital & Expense Budget Recommendations & Agency Responses: FY 2021
Community Boards are required to prepare and submit recommendations for physical improvement projects funded by the City’s Capital Budget program and for operational programs funded by the City’s Expense budget. These recommendations are developed as a result of observation of physical and service problems within Community District 14; analysis of service delivery requests received by the board’s district office; formal local and borough consultation meetings with City agencies, and recommendations submitted by neighborhood and civic groups throughout the Flatbush/Midwood/Kensington communities. The recommendations are considered by the Mayor and by City agencies for inclusion in the Fiscal Year 2021 budget. The members of the City Council review and consider the board’s priorities and vote on the City budget.
The following are Brooklyn Community Board 14’s recommendations for the City’s Fiscal Year 2021 Capital and Expense Budgets, with agency responses from the Register of Budget Requests. Items are in priority order within agencies; all agencies are listed in alphabetical order. Responses are based on response codes developed by the Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget and have been necessarily abbreviated. For responses clearly in error, the Community Board has requested clarification. Please call the CB14 office at 718-859-6357 for further information or clarification on specific items.
