2011 NYC Ladders for Leaders Youth Program Application Deadline 11/29/10

CB14 has just learned that the 2011 NYC Ladders for Leaders application is now available on the DYCD website!

Applications are due no later than 11:59 pm (EST) Monday November 29th, 2010

What is NYC Ladders for Leaders?

NYC Ladders for Leaders is a college and career readiness program offering New York City high school and college students professional paid summer internships, college scholarship opportunities, free college preparatory and SAT courses, career guidance, and leadership development workshops.

Launched by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, NYC Ladders for Leaders is a joint program of the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) and the NYC Commission on Women’s Issues (CWI).

Who can apply?

Anyone with prior work experience (paid or volunteer) who is:

When is the deadline to submit my application?

Applicants must submit copies of report cards or college transcripts, proof of college enrollment (if applicable), and recommendation form to the address noted below, along with their completed applications online or postmarked NO LATER THAN 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Monday, November 29th, 2010.
