7:00 PM – CITYWIDE STATEMENT OF NEEDS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2010 AND 2011: In accordance with Section 204 of the New York City Charter, the Mayor has submitted the Citywide Statement of Needs for Fiscal Years 2010 and 2011 for review and comment. The purpose of this statement is two-fold: to inform the public at the earliest possible stage of the City’s needs for facilities and the specific criteria for selecting their locations; and to provide information about the existing distribution of City properties. To that end, this public hearing has been scheduled to provide information and an opportunity for public comment. Documents will be available for review in advance on the CB 14 website at www.cb14brooklyn.com and on the evening of the hearing at the CB14 District Office.
SPECIAL PERMIT – An application for a Special Permit has been filed with the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA), pursuant to Zoning Resolution of the City of New York §73-622, to enlarge a single or two-family detached or semi-detached residence within the designated R2 district bounded by Avenue I, Nostrand Avenue, Kings Highway, Avenue O and Ocean Avenue in Community Board 14 in the Borough of Brooklyn.
