Construction on Coney Island Avenue

For those of you who are concerned about today’s closure of Coney Island Avenue in the vicinity of Foster Avenue, Glenwood Road and Westminster Road for construction, please be advised that Community Board 14 was not informed about the work in advance.
We are currently trying to ascertain the reasons why this work was initiated without any community consultation, and we are working with multiple agencies to mitigate the gross inconvenience that this work is causing our residents.
