Con Edison Repairs On Glenwood Road
| Posted on: December 10, 2009 |
Con Edison has informed us about major repair work that will take place on Glenwood Road between Coney Island Avenue and East 22nd Street in the upcoming weeks. Con Ed claims that this work is necessary to avoid potential brownouts and power failures in the future.

Brooklyn, NY 11230Dear Ms. Ortiz,
Please be advised that CON EDISON will be digging from E 22 St to Coney Island Ave on Glenwood Rd. The extensive work is necessary to upgrade the underground electric system. Additionally we will be digging 2 trenches on either side of the train tracks on Glenwood Rd. from Rugby Rd. to East 17th St.
This extensive drilling under the tracks will improve the reliability of the system by extending feeder ducts from E 22 St to Coney Island Avenue on Glenwood Rd. This work will continue during the days into January 2010.
We apologize for any inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your assistance and cooperation.
For further information, residents may contact 1-800-75-CON-ED. Thank you.
