Coney Island’s Luna Park, the largest amusement park in New York City,  will be holding the first Job Fair for the 2019 Summer season. Luna Park opens for business on April 6th. Many different positions (full and part-time) will be available for those who want to work behind the scenes, as well as those who want to be in the center of the action. Don’t miss this event to find out all about the available jobs. Please note that all candidates must bring a copy of their resume. GrowNYC Seasonal Job Fair

GrowNYC is a non-profit organization founded over 40 years ago that operates farmers markets, Youthmarkets, food scrap collection locations, Fresh Food Box distribution points, and more. GrowNYC is looking to hire many seasonal staff starting in early spring 2019. At the GrowNYC Seasonal Job Fair, applicants can meet with staff from each of our programs, hear more about seasonal jobs available at GrowNYC, and get a chance to ask questions about working with GrowNYC. Please bring your resume. Snacks and raffle prizes will be available.

Preferred skills and qualifications for working in a seasonal GrowNYC position include early-risers who can work outside in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment, age 18+, available May – November, including weekend days. Optional skills include proficiency in languages other than English, a valid New York State Drivers license, and an interest in driving in NYC.

FHYF Career Fair

The Franco Haitian Youth Federation (FHYF) is hosting a career fair Saturday March 30, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. FHYF is a union of youth members of Seventh day Adventist (SDA) churches within the Tri State and New England areas with programs serving young people, ages 14-35 years old. The career fair will include tabling and two workshops that will run simultaneously. Refreshments will be provided. Workshops cover the following topics: “Where can my degree take me?” & “Getting the job: Resume Dos and Don’ts & Job research.” Attendees will include high school and college students, out of school youths, college graduates, young professionals etc. Professional attire and resumes are encouraged.
