Church Avenue Street Fair

The annual Church Avenue street fair is coming on Sunday, co-sponsored by the BID and the 70th Precinct Community Council. We hope you will stop by the BID’s table between Stratford and E. 10th Street if you have questions or comments about how to improve Church Avenue.
Where: Church Ave. from E. 10th St. to Argyle
When: Sun. April 29 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Schedule of events (subject to change):
11:00-6:00 Pony rides (fee) on Westminster Road off Church
1:00-3:00 Free face painting, sing-along, arts and crafts, and access to indoor playspace at Honeydew Drop (betw. Stratford and Westminster)
1:00-1:30 Zumba class presented by My Namaste Yoga (at E. 10th St.)
2:00-2:30 Belly dancing class presented by My Namaste Yoga (at E. 10th St.)
3:00-3:30 Yoga class presented by My Namaste Yoga (at E. 10th St.)
3:00-3:20: Children’s concert and storytime at Children’s Corner (corner of Stratford)
Throughout the day, there will be tons of shopping and great food including… Shayna’s (Church Ave./E. 10th St.) will be serving their famous roti and Am-Thai (Church Ave./E.10th St) will offer savory spring rolls, dumplings, and fried ice cream. Bonnie Youth Club will have a baseball carnival game sponsored by Modell’s, visit the FDNY exhibit, or let your kids enjoy rides (at E. 10th St.). Get a free check up for your pet from Pawsitive Veterinary (betw. Stratford and Westminster) and visit the North Shore Animal League’s mobile adoption center. And Z Spot Salon will provide hair cuts and trims.
