Thursday, April 16th, 2009CB14 Chairman Alvin M. Berk and District Manager Doris Ortíz sent a letter to New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg urging restoration of all 59 Community Board budgets.
The Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget is proposing an additional 4% reduction for Community Boards, bringing the total reduction to approximately $40,000, or 20% of this year’s current budget.
